One Wichita Falls resident has started a movement to have a Confederate monument removed from Wichita Falls City Hall.
City leaders say they have had a couple of emails about it, but are not yet taking any action.
The monument has stood for over 80 years with no issues like this until now.
“To see it in the public as a white woman it hurts so I can’t imagine how it must feel to a person of color to actually have to see this and live with it,” says Kelly Blose.
