Midwestern State University is set to receive a $4.4 million federal grant from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund authorized by the CARES Act, US Senator John Cornyn announced.
The funds are to be used to help the college respond to the effects of the coronavirus outbreak and at least 50 percent of the grant must go towards providing students with emergency financial aid grants to help cover expenses related to the disruption of campus life.
