Steven Tyler said recently he was angry with his bandmates for years because they sent him to rehab while they went “on holiday”. It happened in 1988 after he spent much of the decade battling drug addiction.

“There was a moment in 1988 where management and the band pulled an intervention on me. They thought, ‘Get the lead singer sober and all our problems would be over”, Tyler said.
